Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony in Rice Stadium

Special Parking

For guests requiring special assistance, a very limited number of parking spaces have been reserved in the South Stadium Lot near Rice Stadium for the Undergraduate Commencement ceremony. These passes are given out on a first-come, first-served basis, so please reserve your pass early. To reserve a pass to this parking area, please submit your request via the online form at tinyurl.com/Rice2024SpecialParking. An electric cart will be available to transport those guests from the South Stadium Lot to Rice Stadium. A designated drop off zone is located in front of Gate 4 of Rice Stadium for drivers to drop off guests prior to parking.

Special Accommodations - Hard of Hearing
  • An American Sign Language interpreter will be signing the Undergraduate Ceremony. There will be a reserved area at the front of Section 111 for those needing this service. Please see a staff member for assistance in finding this area, if needed. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • A limited number of assisted listening devices for the ceremony will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please visit Prime Systems at Gate 2 in Rice Stadium for assistance.
Accessible Seating

Please note that historic Rice Stadium has steep inclines between the entry gates and the concourse. Professional ushers will be available to assist those with wheelchairs or walkers upon entry into the stadium. Chairback seating will be available for groups with persons with mobility issues wishing not to utilize the stairs or bleacher seating. Special sections reserved for persons in wheelchairs, but because of the very limited space in these sections, only one (1) additional family member or guest will be allowed to join the guest requiring this special seating. All other guests in your party should sit in the general admission guest sections.

All special accommodation seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tudor Fieldhouse Ceremonies

Special Parking

For guests requiring special assistance, a very limited number of parking spaces have been reserved in the Moody Lot near Tudor Fieldhouse for the Jones School (MBA), Advanced Degrees, and Doctoral Commencement ceremonies. These passes are given out on a first-come, first-served basis, so please reserve your pass early. To reserve a pass to this parking area, please submit your request via the online form at tinyurl.com/Rice2024SpecialParking. A designated drop off zone is located in front of Tudor Fieldhouse for drivers to drop off guests prior to parking.

Accessible Seating

All special accommodation seating is located on the second level of Autry Court, Tudor Fieldhouse. Persons with wheelchairs should use the elevators to access this level. Please note that ADA seating is limited.
